Initially designed for the German-speaking market, it quickly became one of the most successful Google initiatives worldwide, winning several awards, i.e. LIA gold and ADC bronze.
The huge success and positive response quickly led to an expansion into other European countries. And two years after the first launch it was adapted globally, i.e. India and Singapore – again with the same success. The programme is still in continous development and the concept inspired further Google initiatives, like the Google Market Finder.
